Nikah Services at ICRM

 

The Islamic Center of Rolla, Missouri (ICRM) facilitates Islamic marriage (Nikah) services for members of our community. To have your Nikah performed at the masjid, both parties must satisfy local legal requirements prior to the Islamic ceremony.

 

Requirements & Policies:

 

• In-Person Requirement: Both the bride and the groom must be present in person at the time of the Nikah. ICRM does not facilitate online Nikah ceremonies.

   

• Court Marriage Certificate: Couples must complete their civil court marriage first and present the original certificate at the time of the Nikah.

   

• Identification: Valid photo IDs for both the groom and the bride.

   

• Bride's Representative (Wakeel): Valid photo ID of the bride's designated guardian (Wakeel).

   

• Witnesses: Valid photo IDs and physical presence of two adult Muslim witnesses.

   

• Mahr Details: Finalized details of the agreed-upon Mahr.

   

• Residency & Status: Declaration of current place of residence and prior marital/Nikah history.
